In a city known for fajitas and fine Mexican cuisine, the one truly French restaurant in all of San Antonio provides a little respite for Tony Parker.

And when you're a 19-year-old NBA rookie who was born in Belgium and raised in France that respite is as welcome as the Louvre or Eiffel Tower. He goes there up to five nights a week, as much for the conversation in his native tongue as for the dinners, which aren't the fare one might get in Paris.

"It's nice to go there, makes me feel at home," said Parker, the unlikely starting point guard for the San Antonio Spurs.

But if Parker continues to progress at the rate he has so far this season, the French quotient here will grow by leaps and bounds.
